This month SetupBook got four new things that do exactly that: they take the trades you already log and turn them into your next decision, without more typing. Here is what each one does, and what you can do with it from today. ## An AI review of your week ![An AI review card in SetupBook: what worked, what cost money and what to work on next week, each with its trades and R](https://setupbook.io/blog/whats-new/setupbook-ai-weekly-review-card.en.png) *Every line of the review carries its evidence: the number of trades, the money and the R.* Open the Journal, pick a week, and press **Review my week with AI**. A minute later you have a short card: what worked, what cost you, any pattern worth knowing, and one to three things to work on next week. Every line carries its evidence, the number of trades, the money and the R, so you can check it against your own numbers. The review is written by Google's Gemini, but the math is not. SetupBook computes your win rate, expectancy, mistake costs and breakdowns on its own servers, with the same formulas as your dashboard, and the model only reads those results. It never sees your name, your email or your account numbers, and your notes are cut short and cleaned of addresses and long numbers before they go. Two more things come with it: - **Review a single trade.** On any closed trade, ask for a second look. The trade is set against your last 90 days, the same symbol and the same strategy. - **Ask about your numbers.** In Analytics, ask in plain words: "Which hours cost me the most?" or "What do my winning trades have in common?" The answer comes from your journal, not from the internet. On Pro, last week's review is waiting for you every Monday morning. The free plan gets one weekly review a month. ## A bell that warns before the limit, not after it ![The notification bell in SetupBook with a prop limit warning, a mentor's note and the weekly AI review](https://setupbook.io/blog/whats-new/setupbook-notification-bell-alerts.en.png) *The bell groups prop limit warnings, connection problems and reminders; you choose what also reaches your phone and inbox.* There is now a bell at the top of the app, and SetupBook can reach your phone and your inbox too. You choose what comes where in Settings → Notifications. - **Prop limits.** When 80% of today's loss limit or of the maximum drawdown is used, you hear about it, right after your platform sends the trade. Past the limit, the warning is plain: another trade today could cost the evaluation. - **Connections.** If MetaTrader, cTrader or an exchange stops sending trades, you know the same day, not at the end of the month. - **Habits.** An end-of-day reminder when the day has trades and no review, and a weekly summary on the first day of your week. Push works in any modern browser and, after adding SetupBook to the home screen, on iPhone. Every email has a one-click way to stop it. ## Bring your mentor in ![Mentor notes on a trade in SetupBook: the mentor's advice and the trader's answer under it](https://setupbook.io/blog/whats-new/setupbook-mentor-notes-on-trade.en.png) *The mentor sees only what you shared, and you answer right under the note.* Learning to trade alone is slow. Mentor mode lets a coach, a prop firm mentor or a friend who trades read your journal and tell you what they see. 1. Open **Mentoring** in the sidebar and invite your mentor by email, or create a link. 2. Choose what they see: which accounts, money or R only, your notes, your psychology, your screenshots. You can change it, or take it back, any time. 3. They leave notes on a trade or a day. You answer right there, under the trade. Your mentor never gets into your account. SetupBook builds a read-only view of what you shared each time they look, and what you did not share never leaves the server. Mentors don't need a paid plan to look; a mentor with several students sees them all in one table, with each week in R. ## London against New York, A+ against B ![Two sets of trades compared side by side in SetupBook: win rate, expectancy and drawdown, with both R curves](https://setupbook.io/blog/whats-new/setupbook-compare-two-trade-sets.en.png) *The better value in each row is marked, and average R by hour and weekday shows where the two sets really differ.* Most of what you want to learn from a journal is a comparison. Is London better than New York for you? Are your A+ setups really better than your B setups? Is this month better than last? - **Save a view.** On the Trades page, set your filters, the period and the account, and save them under a name. One click brings them back. - **Compare two.** In Analytics, put two views, or two quick filter sets, side by side. You get the win rate, profit factor, expectancy, average win and loss, drawdown and discipline next to each other, the better value marked, and both R curves on one chart. Average R by hour and by weekday shows where the two really differ. The numbers are the same ones the Trades table shows with the same filters; a test checks that they match to the cent. Under ten trades on a side, SetupBook says so, because a difference that small can be luck. ## Who gets what The free plan stays free for good, with manual entry, 30 trades a month, two accounts and the core numbers of the last 90 days, plus one AI review of your week each month. The AI reviews and questions, prop warnings, mentor sharing, saved views and compare are part of Pro, together with platform sync, file import, mistake costs, psychology and your whole history. Every new journal starts with 14 days of Pro, so you can try all of it on your own trades before you decide.
