These terms are the agreement between you and Mustafa Kahraman (ALAZ.) ("SetupBook", "we", "us") for the use of setupbook.io and the SetupBook app (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service you accept them. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Who can use SetupBook

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract. If you use SetupBook for a company, you confirm you may accept these terms for it, and "you" includes that company.

2. What SetupBook is, and what it is not

SetupBook is a trading journal: a tool to record, import and review your own trades and to calculate statistics from them.

SetupBook is not a broker, an exchange, an investment adviser or a portfolio manager. It does not hold money, execute trades or give personal recommendations. Nothing in the Service, including statistics, reports, calculators, the blog, the glossary and trades other users share, is investment, financial, tax or legal advice. Read the risk disclosure, which forms part of these terms.

3. Your account

  • Give a valid email address and keep your password secret. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
  • Tell us straight away at info@setupbook.io if you think someone else has accessed it.
  • One person per account. Do not sell, transfer or share accounts.

4. Price, subscriptions and payments

SetupBook has two plans. The free plan keeps up to 30 trades a month open (trades beyond that are kept, not deleted, and open again with Pro), two accounts in use, and the dashboard and analytics for the last 90 days, together with manual entry, the core numbers, exit analysis, the playbook with three starter checklist rules, the position-size calculator, the daily journal, the weekly and share cards and the crypto chart. Pro, for a subscription fee, adds everything else the Service offers, including platform connections, file import, unlimited trades and accounts, the whole history, mistake, time and psychology analysis, prop-firm rules, your own checklist rules, screenshots, CSV and JSON export and PDF reports. The current prices, periods and trial are on the pricing page, quoted for your country with the taxes that apply there, and shown to you again before you pay. A copy of your data and the deletion of your account are free on every plan (see the privacy policy).

Payments are taken by our reseller and merchant of record, Paddle.com Market Limited (Paddle.com Inc. for customers in the United States). Paddle sells the subscription to you, charges your payment method, issues the receipt and handles taxes; Paddle's checkout terms apply to the purchase. Paddle emails receipts and renewal reminders to the address on your account.

A new account starts on Pro's 14-day trial, taken through a monthly subscription at sign-up; a payment method is required, nothing is charged until the trial ends, and cancelling before then costs nothing and leaves you on the free plan. A subscription bought later, or for a longer period, starts with the trial shown at checkout, if any. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period, at the price shown when you subscribed or last changed the period, until you cancel. You can cancel at any time in Settings → Subscription or through the links in Paddle's emails; cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have paid for, and you keep Pro until then. Moving to a longer period charges the difference at once, with the unused part of the current period credited.

You get a full refund if you ask within 14 days of any payment, and consumers in the EU, the EEA, the United Kingdom, Switzerland and Türkiye also have a 14-day right of withdrawal. Paddle makes the refund; the refund policy explains how to ask and forms part of these terms. If a feature that was free on the day you started using SetupBook later becomes part of Pro, we tell you before that happens. We may change prices for future periods; a change is announced to you before it applies to your subscription.

5. Your content

"Your content" means everything you put into SetupBook: trades, notes, screenshots, check-ins, imports and the data platforms send us for you.

  • You own your content. We claim no ownership of it.
  • Licence to us. You give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, copy, process and display your content only as needed to provide the Service to you. For a trade you share, the licence extends to showing the shared card to anyone with its link. The licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies in backups that expire on their own schedule.
  • Your responsibility. You confirm you have the right to upload your content and that it does not break the law or anyone's rights. Do not upload other people's personal data without a lawful basis.
  • Export and deletion. You can download your data and delete it at any time from Settings → Data.

6. Shared trades

When you share a trade, a public card is created with the details you left on. Anyone with the link can see it and, if signed in, react to it. You decide what to publish and can delete a card at any time in Settings → Shared trades. Do not use shared cards to promote financial services, give signals for payment, mislead others about performance, or publish anything illegal. We may remove a card that breaks these terms or the law. How to report a card is explained on the report content page.

7. Platform connections

You can connect MetaTrader, cTrader, Binance, Bybit, OKX and other platforms we support.

  • Use read-only keys and permissions wherever the platform offers them. Never give SetupBook a key that can trade or withdraw.
  • You authorise us to use the credentials you provide to fetch your history and to store what is returned.
  • Your relationship with each platform is governed by that platform's own terms. We are not responsible for their availability, their data, or changes they make that stop a connection from working.
  • Synced data can be incomplete, delayed or wrong. Check it against your broker's statements before relying on it.
  • You can disconnect at any time. Disconnecting deletes the stored credentials.

8. Acceptable use

Do not:

  • break any law or anyone's rights through the Service;
  • try to access other users' data, probe or bypass security, or overload the Service;
  • scrape the Service or copy it at scale, or use automated means to create accounts;
  • reverse engineer the Service except where the law allows it;
  • upload malware or anything designed to harm devices or data;
  • use the Service to send spam, run scams, or impersonate anyone;
  • resell the Service or offer it to others as your own.

9. Our intellectual property

The software, design, texts, logos and the names SetupBook and ALAZ belong to us or our licensors. Apart from the right to use the Service under these terms, you receive no rights in them. Third-party software included in the Service is used under its own licences.

10. Feedback

If you send ideas or suggestions, we may use them without owing you anything. Personal data in feedback is handled as described in the privacy policy.

11. Availability and changes

We work to keep SetupBook available and your data safe, but we provide the Service "as is" and "as available". We may change, add or remove features. If we plan to shut down the Service, we will give at least 30 days' notice so you can export your data.

12. Disclaimer

To the extent the law allows, we make no promises that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free or fit for a particular purpose, or that calculations, imported or synced data will be accurate or complete. Your trading decisions are yours alone.

13. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows:

  • we are not liable for trading losses, lost profits, lost opportunities, or indirect or consequential damage arising from the Service;
  • our total liability for all claims relating to the Service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim and 100 US dollars.

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, for gross negligence or wilful misconduct, or any other liability that cannot be limited by law. If you are a consumer, you keep all the rights that the mandatory consumer law of your country gives you.

14. Indemnity

If you use the Service in breach of these terms or the law, and a third party makes a claim against us because of it, you will cover our reasonable costs of that claim. This does not apply to consumers where the law does not allow it.

15. Suspension and termination

You can stop using SetupBook and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms or the law, or where we must by law. Where possible we will tell you why, and you can respond at info@setupbook.io. On termination your right to use the Service ends; sections 5 (for backups), 9, 12, 13, 14 and 17 survive.

16. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We will post the new version here with a new date. For material changes we will notify you in the app or by email at least 15 days before they apply. If you keep using the Service after that date, the new terms apply; if you do not agree, you can delete your account.

17. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. The courts of Türkiye have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer, you also benefit from the mandatory protections of the law of your country of residence and may bring proceedings in your local courts. Please contact us first; most issues can be solved by email.

18. Contact and point of contact

For questions about these terms, and as the single point of contact for users and authorities under the EU Digital Services Act, write to info@setupbook.io. We communicate in English and Turkish. Operator details are in the legal notice.

19. General

If a provision is held invalid, the rest stays in force. Not enforcing a right is not a waiver of it. You may not transfer your rights under these terms without our consent; we may transfer ours to a successor of the Service, with notice to you. These terms, together with the documents they link to, are the whole agreement about the Service.
